OUR STORY

IT ALL BEGAN WITH A TOOTHBRUSH

In second grade, Chase Clark gave a class presentation about dental hygiene and brought products to share with her classmates. Afterward, her classmates asked for more—not just for themselves, but for their families.

That simple request changed how Chase understood service: We believe a resource can remove a barrier, a chance can expand possibility, and support can change the trajectory of a young person’s life.

Our first fundraiser wasn't a gala — It was recycled cans.

With her family and community behind her, Chase collected and recycled aluminum cans to help classmates cover school expenses, including field trips, lunch debts, and more.

It wasn't a big fundraiser. But it started something bigger.

You don't have to start big to make a difference. You just have to start.

In 2013, Chase's Chance, Inc. was born from that belief. What began as one young person's response to a need has grown into a nonprofit investing in scholarships, sponsorships, student experiences, community partnerships, and international service.

The heart of our work remains simple:

See a need.
Imagine what's possible.
Find a way to make it happen.

  • "Around the age of 7, I began my journey as a philanthropist and I have never turned back. At that age, I did not quite understand the “gift” or calling on my life. All I knew was that people were in need and I wanted to do something about it."

    — Chase Clark, Founder & Vice President

  • “Your belief in my potential means the world to me and serves as a motivating force as I embark on this journey. Your generosity has made it possible for me to focus more on my studies and extracurricular activities, without the added stress of financial constraints.”

    — Bryson Serrano, Gentle Giant Scholarship Recipient

  • “Your financial support has been invaluable and I cannot thank you enough for your kindness. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support. Your generosity has had a direct and positive impact on my education.”

    — Alexis Smith, Student Scholarship Recipient

  • “We have seen and benefitted from the generosity and genuine care that this nonprofit has for its community and its needs. We hope you consider giving, knowing that your dollars will be multiplied and stewarded well.”

    — Next Chapter Ben’s Boyz

  • "I find also that many of our young adults, want to move forward but often hindered by lack. I am committed whole-heartedly to seeing this narrative change and while at the intersection of understanding the role and commitment that I hold to these students; I am quickly reminded that this could easily be me."
